This event is sponsored by Will County Treasurer Pat McGuire and the Joliet Junior College chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the student academic honor society. This free conference will help participants gain the money management skills needed to survive today's rough economy. Illinois Lieutenant Governor Pat Quinn will speak on "Protecting Financial Consumers in an Age of Predatory Lending" at 10:15 a.m. Fifty-minute workshops on these topics will follow:
