Pay from Your Bank Account (ACH Withdrawal)

Your payment will be deducted from your checking or savings account, along with a fee of $1.50. Only exact payments for the full installment amount due can be accepted.

To be certain your online ACH withdrawal payment is processed by your bank in time, pay three days prior to the November 9, 2010 online payment deadline.

Online payments are accepted pending all of the following:

  • The financial institution must allow an ACH withdrawal from the account. Accounts that may not allow ACH withdrawals are lines of credit and money market accounts.

  • Funds must be available in the account .

  • The Bank Routing Number and Bank Account Number must be entered correctly.

  • The correct type of account must be selected: checking or savings.

Online payments that are returned will incur a fee of $25.00.

Pay by Credit/Debit Card 

A flat fee of $3.95 per transaction will be charged when a Visa or MasterCard debit card is used. Use of a Visa or MasterCard credit card still will incur a fee of 2.25% of the payment. The fee amount will be displayed before the payment is actually processed. Will County receives no portion of the fee. Only exact payments for the full installment amount due can be accepted.

Refund policy: Refunds are not typically allowed on real estate tax payments. However, if you have a question and/or wish to inquire about a potential refund, please call  (815) 740-4675.
