  • Will County 2007 levy real estate property tax bills payable in 2008 were mailed April 30, 2008.

  • The first installment is due Monday, June 2, 2008. The second installment is due Tuesday, September 2, 2008.

  • If you do not receive a property tax bill by Friday, May 9, call my office at (815) 740-4675. State law requires a property owner to pay property taxes even if the property owner does not receive a bill.

  • The Treasurer's office will open at 7:30 a.m., an hour early, on these dates. Mon.-Fri., May 5-9; Tues.-Fri., May 27-30; Mon., June 2. The office will stay open until 5:30 p.m., an hour late, on these dates. Tues.-Fri., May 27-30; Mon., June 2.

Taxpayers, mortgage companies and title companies can call the automated line 24 hours a day and get current tax information. Using a touch tone phone, callers enter their permanent index number to hear payment information, balance due information, and due dates. A full 14 or 16-digit parcel number (PIN) is needed.
